Fiduciary duty extends solely to investment advisory advice and does not extend to other activities such as insurance product sales, including annuities, life insurance, and long‑term care insurance or broker dealer services. Advisory clients are charged a monthly fee for assets under management while insurance products pay a commission, which may result in a conflict of interest regarding compensation. IAR is also a licensed insurance agent. In this capacity, IAR may offer fixed life insurance products and receive normal and customary commissions. The client is under no obligation to purchase products through IAR on a commissionable basis. In addition, IAR may receive other compensation such as fixed or variable life trails. The potential for receipt of commissions and other compensation when IAR acts as an insurance agent may give IAR an incentive to recommend insurance products based on the compensation received.
Duane’s Fugleberg:Duane worked his way through college as a teller and loan officer for Seafirst Bank in Seattle, Washington. He attended Rick’s College (now BYU Idaho) and the University of Montana where he played football and wrestled, while pursuing a degree in business management. After college he worked for Lyons and Associates a full-service insurance agency in Salt Lake City, Utah (which eventually become the insurance department for Zion’s Bank). After leaving Lyons and Associates in 1989, Duane was hired by Seafirst Bank, who was eventually acquired by Bank of America. In 1992, Duane was hiredas a VP and Manager for Bank of America in their Idaho Falls Office and was tasked with regional training and service on the bank’s Incentive and Strategic Budget Committee’s.
In 1996, Duane founded American Marketing & Financial Group where he did financial planning, and eventually added lending.In 2004, he co-founded M3Wealth, a non-traditional financial services company focused debt-based planning, debt elimination, lending and business consulting. M3 Wealth focuses on: “Mapping a sustainable course to Financial Self-reliance, Measuring the impact of daily financial decisions, and Mentoring proven financial principles.”
Kyle S. Bigler:After 10 years representing single companies (MONY and Beneficial Life), Kyle founded CORE Financial, Inc. in 2010 to provide a more independent and flexible platform for delivering financial advice and services to clients.
Kyle’s primary focus is an asset management and retirement planning, but he is also passionate about teaching clients different strategies for managing cash flow and reducing debt – two areas he feels are underserved within the industry.
Born in Arizona, Kyle was raised primarily in Utah County, where he graduated from BYU in 2000 (Marketing) and currently lives with his wife and two children.
Outside of work, Kyle’s primary interests include music, cycling, baseball, reading, and traveling with his family.
F. Todd Schwendiman:Todd founded HSG over 20 years ago to help numerous families and individuals along the Wasatch Front and throughout the western United States to protect and preserve their retirement assets.
He believes it’s vital to understand retirement may last 30‑40 years, and that Income, Social Security and Safe Money Asset Management planning are a crucial part of this process. Most people Todd works with are not concerned about running out of money, they’re fearful of running out of income. When he’s able to help them balance their retirement income needs with only a portion of their portfolio, with money left over to invest a portion of the excess, he can see the sense of relief in their eyes.
Todd is a member of the National Ethics Association, is a recognized National Social Security Advisor, and has a Series 65 securities registration. He earned a finance degree from the University of Utah and a business degree from Salt Lake Community College.
Todd has been married to his best friend Laurel for over 36 years and they are proud parents of three children and grandparents of four. He enjoys traveling with his wife and family and spending time outdoors.

Born and raised in Idaho Falls, Katie grew up in the medical industry. She spent 10 years at Community Care starting while in high school. She worked her way up into Administration where she learned every aspect of that business. After starting her family and adjusting to motherhood, Katie purchased her first billing company in 2006. She has been deeply involved in medical billing/coding ever since. She is passionate about finding ways to increase revenue for offices and providers.
There has never been a single provider she hasn’t been
able to locate and recover lost revenue for in her 15 years of doing business. She enjoys helping providers understand the overall business of medicine and allowing them to do what they do best!
Katie has four children and loves to play the piano, watch movies, surf and play games.
